When you are looking at forex systems, one of the factors that you might see mentioned in a good system review or summary is drawdown. In order to trade currency successfully in the foreign exchange market, it is necessary to have some way to make forex predictions. In other words, you need to be have an idea of which direction the prices are going to move. The thing is you can study the Forex market for your whole life and not make a single step towards the truth. New trading strategies, new indicators, new trading robots are emerging every day. Someone discovers new methods of chart analysis. The list goes on. Forex market can be either in trending or ranging conditions. It is quite difficult to make a trading system work for both conditions. There are many trading systems that work in trending markets, such as swing system and breakout system. I would like to focus on range trading systems here. |
